Pat Cronin Foundation Ltd
The Pat Cronin Foundation is dedicated to preventing social violence by empowering young Australians to make wiser choices and stand against violence. Pat Cronin was a kind and gentle 19-year-old who lost his life in 2016 after being struck by a single coward punch while helping a friend.
In Pat’s memory, the foundation strives to create a culture of nonviolence and respect. At the core of our mission is the belief that education is the key to changing attitudes toward violence. Through our Be Wise education programs, we work with schools, sporting clubs, community groups, and businesses to share Pat’s story—a powerful and relatable illustration of the devastating consequences of violence.
More than just raising awareness, we equip young people with practical tools and strategies to prevent social violence and make wiser choices. Together, we can honour Pat’s legacy and build a safer, more respectful society.
